SELECTING THE CORRECT BATTERY
1. STREET LEGAL
Are you planning on powering a street legal Vehicle?
A personal transportation vehicle (PTV) is allowed to operate under 20mph. A street legal vehicle is allowed to operate at a maximum of 25mph. Obviously, this extra 5mph is not a ton but it compounds over the course of a day’s travel to be pretty significant. The lowest end lead acid batteries will not be able to reach the 25mph mark.
PTV - 20mph MAX
LSV - 25mph MAX
